Fictional example · not a client result
Same page. Three CSS changes.
This original fixture is plain HTML, not an implementation in a website editor. It illustrates the type of defect; it does not prove compatibility with a particular customer’s site.
The embedded page uses the selected width even on a smaller screen. Scroll this frame area sideways to inspect wider views. This is viewport emulation, not a real-device test. Real-device behavior and editor compatibility have not been verified.
What changes, exactly?
- Overflow: replace the fixed 680 px hero width with
width:100%; max-width:680px. - Navigation: allow wrapping, add spacing and give existing links at least 44 px height.
- Readability: change body copy from 11 px / 1.15 line-height to 16 px / 1.6.
The words and links are identical. This fixture uses original text and local stylesheets, without imagery or external fonts.
